The Origin Story

Earl came into Jane’s life in July 2025 — a rescue pup with a gentle presence that instantly felt magical.
During Season 1 of Jane’s Place, he quietly became the heart of the room — softening nerves, easing anxiety, and making every guest feel held.

It soon became clear he wasn’t just a companion… he was a magical unicorn and Jane’s Place Chief Hugs Officer!

From Earl’s calming magic, the idea for Earl’s Happy Hug Box — and the Happy Hugs Movement — was born.
